What do pirates, Napoleon Bonaparte and Giuseppe Garibaldi have in common? You will find the answer on this fascinating one-day dinghy tour to discover theMaddalena Archipelago.
This little corner of paradise in northern Sardinia is indeed a treasure trove that holds immense natural as well as historical gems. Get ready to set sail to the 7 main islands and dive into the crystal-clear waters.
Discover Santo Stefano, from where Napoleon attacked La Maddalena. Admire the island of Caprera, Garibaldi's home. It will be an excursion that will go down in history!
What we will do
We will meet in Palau at 10:30 am.
From here at 11:00 a.m. we will set sail to begin our excursion, which includes 7 stops of about 20/30 minutes at the 7 islands of the Maddalena Archipelago, accompanied by a skipper who will tell stories and anecdotes about the places visited.
We will make a first stop in Santo Stefano, where Napoleon Bonaparte conducted his first battle - lost - to conquer Sardinia, and then reach Caprera, famous as Garibaldi's home. The third stop will be in the town of La Maddalena, where we will disembark for an hour and a quarter, discovering the historic centre.
Resuming navigation, we will head towards Spargi, a small granite island, and its Cala Soraya. We will then head back towards Budelli, where we will stop at the natural pools in front of Razzoli and finally Cala Santa Maria.
During the excursion we will havesnorkelling equipment (included) at our disposal to dive into the emerald waters of the archipelago and discover its seabed.
We will return to the port of Palau after a 7-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but boarding assistance is available on request for passengers with reduced mobility (contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email).
Other information
The activity takes place every day from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 6 people.
The boat used is a 10-metre DOVI maxi dinghy, with a 600 HP engine, equipped with an icebox, shower, climbing ladder, sundeck, awning and stereo.
Bathing stops during the tour are all made from the boat, except for disembarking at La Maddalena.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
Lunch is excluded and can be taken packed or purchased on disembarkation at La Maddalena.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
