One-day dinghy excursion to Favignana and Levanzo

Did you know that the name Egadi comes from the Greek Aigatai, 'islands of goats'? Get ready for a bee...l tour to discover these maritime pearls of the Mediterranean!

Sailing in a dinghy through crystal-clear turquoise waters, you will tour the most beautiful beaches of Favignana, and then dive into the unforgettable colours of the Grotta degli Innamorati. You can then discover Levanzo, the tiny island of just 5 km² of absolute splendour!

With all these wonders, 8 hours will pass all too quickly!

What we will do

We will meet in Trapani 60 minutes before departure. Here we will find the skipper andassistant skipper waiting for us, ready to start boarding the dinghy. We will then begin our tour, which will include several stops, each with a bathing stop of about 30 minutes.

From Trapani , we will reach the island of Favignana in about 20 minutes, where we will make our first bathing stop in the crystal-clear turquoise waters of Cala Azzurra, one of the island's most popular and popular beaches, with a seabed consisting of white sand with pink hues. The second stop will be at Bue Marino: the contrast between the white of the quarry and the blue of the sea will create an evocative spectacle, making the place one of the most beautiful and fascinating inlets in the area.

Then it will be the turn ofCala Rossa, a wild and uncontaminated beach enclosed by imposing rock walls and deep blue waters with delicate reflections tending to turquoise. Navigation will resume towards Scalo Cavallo: theancient tuff quarry is one of the lesser-known stops on the tour. Here we will find a sea awaiting us that transitions from turquoise tones along the shore to the deep blue of the deepest waters.

Towards lunchtime we will stop for 2 hours at the port of Favignana: here we can go ashore and explore the centre of the island on our own and, why not, enjoy lunch in a typical little restaurant (lunch not included).

Back on board, we will sail towards the Grotta degli Innamorati (Lovers' Cave), named after two characteristic rocks clasped in an underwater embrace. You will be able to swim into the cave to explore the evocative tunnels and the immense, golden-coloured cavity. The last stop in Favignana will be at Cala del Pozzo, with its rocks, white sandy beaches and rocky seabed extraordinarily rich in life and colours.

Next, we will set sail for Levanzo to admire its Faraglione, a majestic atoll-like rock with a splendid beach of clean, white pebbles. Then it will be the turn of the island's small harbour, Cala Dogana, and Cala Fredda, a beach immersed in wild, rugged nature. The last stop on the tour will be at Cala Minnola, an enchanting inlet whose deep waters conceal archaeological remains dating back to Roman times.

We will finally return to Trapani after an 8-hour excursion.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit: minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Children from 0 to 2 years old do not pay: please inform the organisers at the contact details indicated in your booking confirmation email.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The activity is not recommended for pregnant women: participation is only possible under one's own responsibility and on presentation of a medical certificate.

Other information

The tour takes place daily from 1 May to 31 October with a minimum of 5 participants.

The boat is an 11-metre dinghy with a shower, USB socket, awning, changing cabin, bathroom, stereo, fridge, climbing ladder. Alternatively, an 8-metre open dinghy is also available.

The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

Dogs are not allowed on board.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport or by car. There are free and paid parking spaces on site.
