Enjoy a wonderful dinghy tour to discover the beauty of the Syracuse coastline: from Avola to Ortigia via the Plemmirio Nature Reserve and the Syracuse Caves.
Spend half a day away from the crowded lidos and visit by sea the most beautiful beaches and most characteristic places on the coast of south-eastern Sicily.
The tour includes several stops for swimming, a stop to visit theisland of Ortigia, and a delicious Sicilian aperitif on board.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the tourist harbour in Avola (SR). Here you will find the skipper ready to welcome you on board a state-of-the-art, comfortable dinghy, and after a brief introductory briefing you will set off in a northerly direction, towards Syracuse.
The itinerary includes several stops along the coast, including theArenella beach and the Plemmirio nature reserve. Once past the Gulf of Noto we will head towards the Grottoes of Syracuse, natural recesses of unmissable charm. These will include the Lovers' Cave, the Pillirina Cave, the Turtle Cave, the Cave of Stalactites, and the Cave of the Spectacles.
During the tour there will be several stops for swimming and a stop to visit Ortigia, the island of Syracuse, with its ancient architecture emerging from the crystal-clear tursquoise sea. On board the dinghy, a Sicilian aperitif of arancini, focaccine, fresh fruit, soft drinks, beer or prosecco will then be served. At that point the return trip will begin during which, before reaching the port of departure, we will stop near Castello Maniace in Ortigia and at the bay of Fontane Bianche.
The excursion lasts a total of 5½ hours and ends with the return to the port of Avola.

This activity is available from the end of June to the beginning of September, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants.
The excursion takes place on board a latest-generation 798 dinghy equipped with ample space, comfortable seating and every comfort needed to make the experience at sea a pleasant one. At 8 metres long and 2.8 metres wide, it is equipped with awning, stereo system, fresh water shower, ladder for access to the water, stern sundeck, USB socket, stereo system and fridge. The maximum capacity is 26 people, but we recommend not exceeding 12 people in order to be comfortable.
