Full description
The sea of Syracuse has been the scene of human history for millennia and you still haven't explored it? Make up for it now with a half-day dinghy tour and admire the wonders of the south coast of this fantastic city, including hidden coves, stacks and sea caves.
And if you feel like making it even more adventurous, you'll have snorkelling masks and a SUP (Stand Up Paddle) to explore the most inaccessible coves and dive into the deep blue.
To finish, a Sicilian aperitif on board surrounded by incomparable nature and beauty!
What we will do
The rendezvous is about 30 minutes before departure in Syracuse, where the captain will welcome us and seat us on board the comfortable dinghy.
The first stop on the tour will be La Marchesa, one of the most beautiful and famous coves in the area, characterised by a fine sandy beach and a shallow, transparent sea. Here we will make a 30-minute swim stop, where we can sunbathe and relax, or use the SUP to venture out into the surroundings.
We will then arrive at Capo Murro di Porco, the most extreme point in western Sicily, where the impressive lighthouse dominates the surrounding landscape. We will be close to thePlemmirio Marine Protected Area, one of the most important and richest in biodiversity in the Mediterranean. Thanks to our special authorisation, we will be able to moor in this area and snorkel among colourful fish, corals and anemones.
Back on the boat, we will reach the Arenella Beach and then the Grotta di Ognina, where we will be able to take another half-hour swim.
To end our tour on a high note, we will enjoy an aperitif of typical products such as cheese and other specialities, accompanied by wine, water and soft drinks. At the end of the aperitif we will begin the return trip to Syracuse, after about four hours of touring.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Infants up to 1 year old participate free of charge.
Due to the dock, the boat is not accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available from the beginning of May to mid-October. It starts with a minimum of five participants.
The boat used is an 8-metre, 250-hp dinghy with an awning, a fridge where all drinks are kept, a Bluetooth speaker, and a freshwater shower.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
