Today, blue will be practically the only colour allowed.
Aboard a large inflatable boat setting off from Santa Maria Navarrese, an experienced skipper will take you on a tour of the Baunei coast, stopping off at Cala Mariolu, Cala Gabbiani and Cala Luna.
The plan? The sea, picture-perfect coves and a whole day with your feet in the sand. It could be worse.
What we will do
We are due to set off at 9. 00 am from Santa Maria Navarrese. We will meet at 8. 45 am to allow time for boarding and to ensure we leave on time.
Our first stop will be Cala Mariolu, which was once home to monk seals that used to steal fish straight from the fishermen’s nets. Today, the monk seals are no longer there, but there are still plenty of small fish swimming in the crystal-clear waters, which we’ll be able to see whilst snorkelling.
Our second stop will be Cala Biriala: tiny white pebbles and azure waters will provide the perfect backdrop for our photos before we take a refreshing dip and enjoy a lovely swim. As an alternative to either of these two stops, we can opt for the Grotta del Fico (the entrance fee for which is not included in the price and must be purchased on site) .
Finally, we’ll reach the enchanting beach of Cala Luna, home to small natural caves as well as a restaurant where we can sit down for lunch. Alternatively, we can spread our towels out on the fine, golden sand and enjoy our packed lunch whilst admiring the horizon.
In the afternoon, we can relax on the beach, sunbathe and swim in the waters off the beach.
The tour lasts 8 hours and ends with our return to Santa Maria Navarrese at around 5. 00 pm.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to everyone, with no age limit. Children up to 2 years of age participate free of charge.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
Other information
The excursion takes place from May to October and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
It is necessary to arrive at least 15 minutes before the time agreed upon at the time of booking.
Each stop will last approximately one to one and a half hours. If the beaches are not too crowded, there will also be time to reach the Piscine di Venere and Cala Golortizè.
The itinerary may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
A fee of 1€ per person to be paid in cash on site is required to access Cala Mariolu.
The boat available for the tour is a 7.5-metre maxi dinghy without a canopy that can accommodate up to 12 people in addition to the skipper. You may bring your own sunshade on board. Dogs are not allowed on the tour.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; paid parking spaces are available on site within the harbour or free parking spaces are available a short distance away.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
