Have you ever wanted to dive into an open-air aquarium? If the answer is yes, the Costa degli Dei is calling you!
Set sail from Tropea for a 3-hour dinghy adventure among wild inlets and underwater legends.
Together with a local skipper, you will discover the secrets of the Calabrian coastline, crowning the trip with an aperitif of typical products. Your summer starts here!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Tropea (VV). Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our dinghy excursion on the Costa degli Dei!
After an initial navigation of about 30 minutes, we will reach the beautiful area of Capo Vaticano and Grotticelle. Here we will stop for our first swim of about 30 minutes, taking advantage of the snorkelling masks available to greet the fish that populate these seabeds.
We will then head towards Formicoli, where we will sail over the remains of an ancient Greco-Roman port. We will stop for a second swim of about 30 minutes, during which a tasty Calabrian aperitif will be served. We will toast with prosecco and fresh tea, accompanied by bruschetta and typical taralli.
Continuing our navigation, we will pass by Riace, where we will consider whether to make another swimming stop or to explore some natural caves and inlets.
The last swimming stop awaits us in front of the village of Tropea, near the Grotta Azzurra. We will admire the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola from the sea, looking for the angle for the perfect shot.
Finally, we will return to the port of departure. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users and persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a BSC inflatable boat, approximately 8. 5 metres long and equipped with an awning, shower, stereo and climbing ladder. On board one stays without shoes.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances (such as coeliac disease) , please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your participation confirmation e-mail.
Small dogs are welcome on board as long as they can be held for the duration of the excursion.
Free and paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
