Full description
They are among the most intelligent animals on the planet, champions of high jumping and playful by nature. We're talking about dolphins, of course!
Get ready to immortalise them in your best holiday photos during this one-and-a-half-hour dinghy tour in Golfo Aranci.
Sail between theisland of Figarolo and the cliffs of Capo Figari and experience the thrill of spotting these extraordinary inhabitants of the sea in the waves.
What we will do
The meeting point is Golfo Aranci, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Once the group is assembled, we will depart from the beach aboard a rubber dinghy for our photographic tour in search of dolphins.
We will circumnavigate theislet of Figarolo and the aquaculture plant, with the possibility of spotting from the sea the wild mouflons that live on the islet, a colony that has found its ideal habitat here.
We will continue along the cliffs of Capo Figari to admire the extraordinary landscape of Cala Greca and Cala Moresca. Weather permitting, we will stop for about 15 minutes to swim and relax in the water at Cala Moresca or at Figarolo beach.
With eyes wide open and a pinch of luck, we will be ready to immortalise the amusing leaps and aquatic evolutions of dolphins in the Sardinian waves.
We will return to Golfo Aranci after about oneand a half hours of the tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children from 0 to 2 years old do not pay, but it is compulsory to communicate their presence to the contacts indicated in the booking confirmation email.
Swimming skills are required to participate. The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions. As this is a search for dolphins in their natural habitat, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Dinghies ranging from 7.5 m to 12 m in length are used for the outing, equipped with an ascending ladder and buoyancy aids. The boats are not equipped with an awning or shower. Dogs are not allowed on board.
Outdoor showers with hot and cold water and toilets are available at the diving centre. Personal belongings may be left in the care of the staff during the activity.
For those arriving by public transport, the railway station is approximately 1.5 km from the diving centre. On-site parking spaces are available for a fee.
