Full description
Do you love the sea and relaxation and has Sardinia always been one of your favourite destinations? Then don't miss the opportunity to discover the fantastic Sulcis archipelago on board an inflatable boat.
In 8 hours of navigation you can explore the beautiful natural landscapes between the Island of San Pietro and Carloforte, enter suggestive caves and dive into crystal-clear blue waters.
Theday excursion includes numerous bathing stops and stops to discover all the island's most important beaches and caves. Are you with us?
What we will do
We will meet at the port of Sant'Antioco at 09:15 and board the dinghy to begin our adventure at 09:30.
After about 40 minutes of sailing, we will reachIsola Piana, the first bathing stop of the day.
Continuing towards the upper part of the island, we will be able to admire the historic tuna fishery of Carloforte, and then head towards some inlets and caves such as the Grotta del Pulpito, which we will explore with the dinghy. Next, we will swim in the Grotta delle Oche and the Scoglio di Cala Vinagra.
We will then head towards Cala Fico, where we will visit a cave, and continue on to the lighthouse at Capo Sandalo, the westernmost tip of the island of San Pietro, from which we will be able to take spectacular panoramic photographs. The next stop is Punta del Capodoglio, where, depending on the time of day, we will stop to enjoy a small snack of guttiau bread and Sardinian white wine. Those who wish can also take advantage of the stop to eat lunch brought from home.
We will then resume sailing towards Punta dei Laggioni, where we will swim in crystal-clear waters with depths of up to 5 metres. Our adventure will continue towards the Spiaggia della Caletta beach, the only one in the northwest part of the island, and then to the Golfo della Mezzaluna to visit some spectacular caves.
During our tour, we will also pass by the beaches of Lucchese, the Colonne di Carloforte, the Spiaggia della Bobba and the Spiaggia di Guidi.
Finally, we will stop at the Spiaggia del Giunco for thelast swim of the day, before returning to the port of Sant'Antioco after an 8-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children from 0 to 2 years old do not pay: contact us to reserve their place on board.
The excursion is not recommended for women in an advanced state of pregnancy.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible .
Other information
The excursion is available from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 6 participants, subject to marine weather conditions.
The tour will be carried out on board an 8-metre rubber dinghy approved for 16 people and equipped with a freshwater shower, large awning, radio with smartphone connection, USB sockets, snorkelling masks, table, ladder, bow and stern sundeck and life jackets.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
During navigation, a small snack with guttiau bread, drinks and Sardinian white wine is offered. It is recommended to bring food and drinks for a packed lunch.
