But how beautiful is the Gulf of Orosei? Enough to spend a whole day there. And so much to dive (literally) into its irresistible waters.
These are the ingredients of our dinghy tour with skipper: land on the best beaches of the Gulf of Orosei and dive into the splendid Sardinian sea. And don't forget your camera: you'll have to immortalise the boats 'flying' at the Piscine di Venere!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before 08:30 at the meeting point in Arbatax (NU). I am your skipper and I will welcome you on board my dinghy that will take us to the beautiful natural setting of the Gulf of Orosei!
Once all passengers have been boarded, we will set sail and sail to Cala Goloritzé, where we will stop for our first swim. We will then land at Cala Mariolu, called the 'most beautiful beach in Italy', where we will stop for about 1 hour. Once back on board, we will sail to discover the sea caves that decorate the coastline, partially entering them.
Next, we will land at Cala Luna: we will stop for a swim and lunch, given the time; right on the beach there is a typical Sardinian restaurant, as an alternative to the packed lunch brought from home. With a full stomach, we will then head towards Cala Biriala, a beach where we will stop for about 1 hour. We will finally reach the Piscine di Venere (Venus Pools), for a dive in a spectacular setting where the dinghy will seem to 'fly' over the water (and you can immortalise this phenomenon with a photo)!
At the end, we will return to the meeting point for a total experience lasting 8½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children from or up to 2 years of age participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; people with reduced mobility are welcome on board, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report their presence and request boarding support.
Pregnant women must sign a waiver before boarding.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to October and is guaranteed when the minimum number of 6 participants is reached.
The excursion takes place and the itinerary may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The fee excludes the Environmental Contribution of 3€ per person(to be paid online via the Heart Of Sardinia app) for access to the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
The boat is an 8-metre-long dinghy , equipped with an awning, shower, and climbing ladder.
No shoes are allowed on board, you remain barefoot.
No dogs are allowed on board, with the exception of guide dogs.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
