Just how beautiful is the Gulf of Orosei? Beautiful enough to spend a whole day there. And beautiful enough to dive (literally) into its irresistible waters.
These are the highlights of our guided dinghy tour: we’ll stop at the best beaches in the Gulf of Orosei and you’ll dive into Sardinia’s stunning sea.
And don’t forget your camera: you’ll want to capture the boats ‘flying’ at the Piscine di Venere!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Arbatax (NU). The skipper will welcome us aboard the dinghy, which will take us to the stunning natural setting of the Gulf of Orosei!
Once all passengers have boarded, we’ll set sail and head to Cala Goloritzé, where we’ll stop for our first swim. We’ll then head to Cala Mariolu, described as ‘Italy’s most beautiful beach’, where we’ll stop for about an hour. Once back on board, we’ll set off to explore the sea caves that dot the coastline, venturing partially inside some of them.
Next, we’ll land at Cala Luna: a swim stop and lunch break, given the time of day; there’s actually a traditional Sardinian restaurant right on the beach, as an alternative to a packed lunch brought from home. With our stomachs full, we’ll then head towards Cala Biriala, a beach where we’ll stop for about an hour.
Finally, we’ll reach the Piscine di Venere for a dip in a spectacular setting where the dinghy will seem to ‘fly’ over the water (and you’ll be able to capture this moment with a photo) !
At the end of the trip, we’ll return to the meeting point, bringing this 8½-hour adventure to a close.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children from or up to 2 years of age participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; people with reduced mobility are welcome on board, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report their presence and request boarding support.
Pregnant women must sign a waiver before boarding.

The tour runs from June to October and is guaranteed to go ahead provided a minimum of 6 participants sign up.
The excursion will go ahead, and the itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the organiser’s discretion.
The boat is an 8-metre-long inflatable dinghy , equipped with an awning, a shower and a boarding ladder. Footwear is not permitted on board; participants must remain barefoot.
The price does not include the €3 environmental fee per person (to be paid online via the Heart Of Sardinia app) for access to the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei.
Dogs are not permitted on board, with the exception of guide dogs.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
