Afternoon dinghy tour to Molara and Tavolara

Treat yourself to 6 hours of sea, relaxation and fun on board a maxi dinghy. You will visit Cala Brandicchi, a marvellous beach known as Tahiti Sarda, and then the island of Proratora where you will visit the suggestive chimney cave.

The third stop on the tour is a true wonder: the natural pools of Molara. You will put on your mask to dive into this natural aquarium, which is part of a protected marine area and will amaze you with its variety of fish and flora, including polychrome sponges.

After this snorkelling interlude, you will return on board heading for Tavolara and the Spalmatore di terra beach, where you can take a dip in the crystal-clear water with its white sandy shoreline and pinkish-white seabed. Another breathtaking stop will be Cala Girgolu, with its turtle beach, flat stones beach and cow beach.

The last stop, on the other hand, is dedicated to enjoying the magical moment of sunset in the bay of Capo Coda Cavallo!

What we will do

We will depart at 14: 00 from San Teodoro for an entire afternoon excursion in a maxi dinghy (the rendezvous is 30 minutes before departure) .

Sailing along La Cinta beach, we will pass by the Marina of Puntaldia and the waters of Lu Impostu beach. After a few minutes, we will descend to the world-famous Cala Brandicchi beach, also known as the 'little Sardinian Tahiti', where we will make our first swimming stop.

Once back on board, we will sail around Ruia Island until we reach Proratora Island and visit the cave of the oven, so called because it is connected to the top of the island by a natural chimney. We will then head towards the south coast of Molara , skirting a marvellous coastline to be absolutely immortalised with some beautiful souvenir photos.

We will then arrive at the pools of Molara, where we can don our masks for snorkelling. We will thus enjoy the unique experience of swimming in a sort of natural aquarium among fish and marine flora in crystal-clear waters.

Back on board, we will continue our excursion towards the rock face of Tavolara Island, where we will spot the Cathedral Cave. Here we will hear from the skipper about the history of the world's smallest kingdom. After the interesting historical pause, we will resume sailing along the coast of the island and then stop in the small harbour, with the possibility of disembarking for refreshments, or we will stop for a swim in front of the Spalmatore di terra beach and Isola Piana.

We will then continue on to Cala Girgolu, where we can admire the turtle-shaped rock, the beach of flat stones and the beach of cows. We will also stop at Cala Girgolu for a fantastic swim before heading towards the bay of Capo Coda Cavallo, where we will stop to admire the sunset and, if you wish, for an aperitif (optional and to be paid for locally) .

Once the fun on board is over, we will return to the starting point at 20: 00, after a 6-hour excursion.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is open to all, without age limits. Please inform the staff in case of participation of pregnant women.

The raft is not wheelchair accessible.

Other information

The tour is scheduled in the months of June to September and is confirmed when a minimum of 6 participants are reached.

Please note: arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time. The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport (a van will be available from the meeting point to the pier) . There is the possibility of requesting a transfer service from your hotel/accommodation at an extra charge (request this directly from the guide after booking confirmation) .

The boat is an 8-metre-long maxi dinghy. All safety equipment is available on board for a smooth crossing. Not only that, the dinghy is equipped with an awning, cushions, a fridge bar and a stereo system to make your day at sea even more comfortable and enjoyable.

Animals are not allowed.

For those who wish to take advantage of the aperitif, there is an additional cost of €10 per person to be paid on site. The aperitif includes snacks, chips and prosecco. In the event of food intolerances and allergies, please contact the staff in advance so that we can make any changes to the menu (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation) .
