Dinghy tour to Molara and Tavolara with sunset aperitif

Treat yourself to 7 hours of sea, relaxation and fun on board a maxi dinghy. You will visit Cala Brandicchi, a marvellous beach known as Tahiti Sarda, and then theisland of Proratora where you will visit the impressive chimney cave.

The third stop on the tour is a true wonder: the natural pools of Molara. You will put on your mask to dive into this natural aquarium, which is part of a protected marine area and will amaze you with its variety of fish and flora, including polychrome sponges.

After this snorkelling interlude, you will return on board heading for Tavolara and the Spalmatore di terra beach, where you can take a dip in the crystal-clear water with its white sandy shoreline and pinkish-white seabed. Another breathtaking stop will be Cala Girgolu, with its turtle beach, flat stones beach and cow beach.

The last stop, on the other hand, is dedicated to enjoying the magical moment of sunset. You will stop, in fact, in the bay of Capo Coda Cavallo for an aperitif on board accompanied by lots of good music. Are you ready to join us?

What we will do

We will depart at 2 p.m. from San Teodoro for an entire afternoon excursion in a maxi dinghy (the rendezvous is 30 minutes before departure). Our first stop will be a marvellous cove, whose colours and atmosphere have earned it the name of Sardinian Tahiti: Cala Brandicchi. Here we will make an initial stop for a dip in the spectacular turquoise waters.

Back on board, we will reach theisland of Proratora, which will amaze us with its red porphyry cliffs. We will stop again for a visit to the Chimney Cave, so called because of a natural chimney that connects it to the top of the island. We will then head towards theisland of Molara, with its rounded shape reminiscent of a grinding wheel and its wind-sculpted rocks such as the Dinosaur Stone.

We will then reach the natural pools of Molara, where we will don our masks for a unique snorkelling experience. The pools, in fact, are a kind of natural aquarium that is part of the Tavolara Punta Capo Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area. We will thus be able to spot true natural wonders, from polychrome sponges to Poseidonia oceanica meadows.

The dinghy will then head towards the Tavolara rock face and the cathedral cave. Here we will also discover the history of Tavolara, considered the smallest kingdom in the world, thanks to the curious information the skipper will give us. After the interesting historical break, we will resume sailing along the island's coastline and stop at the beautiful Spalmatore di terra beach, with its white sandy beach tending to pink.

We will then continue on to Cala Girgolu, where we can admire the turtle-shaped rock, the beach of flat stones and the beach of cows. The latter was famous for the cows that used to graze on the promontory. Today it is a wonderful cove with granite cliffs shaped by the wind.

We will also stop at Cala Girgolu for a fantastic swim before heading towards the bay of Capo Coda Cavallo, where we will stop for a tasty aperitif at sunset. We will turn on the stereo to dance, sing and toast while eating the rich buffet washed down with bubbles.

Once the fun on board is over, we will return to the starting point at 21:30, after a 7-hour excursion.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is intended for participants over 18 years of age as the activity includes drinks, music and fun on the boat.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Other information

The tour is scheduled in the months of May to September and is confirmed when a minimum of 6 participants are reached.

Pleasenote: arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time. The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport (a van will be available from the meeting point to the pier). There is the possibility of requesting a transfer service from your hotel/accommodation at an extra charge (request this directly from the guide after booking confirmation).

The boat is an 8-metre-long maxi dinghy. All safety equipment is available on board for a smooth crossing. Not only that, the dinghy is equipped with an awning, cushions, a fridge bar and a stereo system to make your day at sea even more comfortable and enjoyable.
