You can already see it from the meeting point. Yes, that is indeedTavolara Island!
This is because our dinghy excursion starts from the heart of the marine protected area of the same name: in the company of a skipper and a guide specialised in environmental science, you will set sail to discover the main natural attractions including Cala Girgolu, Sassi Piatti and Piscine di Molara.
Anexcursion of over 3 hours in the irresistible Sardinian sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Porto San Paolo (SS). We will be welcomed by the crew that will accompany us on this adventure, consisting of a skipper and a guide specialised in environmental sciences.
Once all passengers have been boarded, we will set sail into theTavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area. We will say goodbye to Porto San Paolo and reach the scenic Chrisso Wreck, visible from the surface; we will continue sailing towards the famous Cala Girgolu and Sassi Piatti, before reaching Capo Coda Cavallo and circumnavigating theisland of Proratora.
Our next stop will be the Piscine di Molara (Molara Pools ) where, in addition to the inevitable swimming stop, an on-board toast (included) with assorted classic snacks accompanied by a glass of prosecco or non-alcoholic beverages will take place. Navigation will continue to the Falesie di Tavolara , before reaching Tavolara for a 30-minute shore break to be spent at leisure.
The final stop will beIsola Piana, for a final dive to conclude this excursion. At least four 30-minute bathing stops are planned during the navigation.
We will say goodbye to theIsola dei Cavalli and return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 do not need to be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence on board.
The pier is difficult to access but people with mobility problems are welcome on board: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request boarding support.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is an 8.50-metre-long dinghy equipped with a sundeck, awning, climbing ladder, shower and stereo. On board the boat you remain barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board the boat.
The itinerary may vary at the skipper's discretion depending on weather conditions.
Options for people with food allergies and/or intolerances are not available.
