Embark on an unforgettable boat excursion to Capo Vaticano, which will let you discover the most incredible and evocative places on the Costa degli Dei.
Aboard a 10-metre dinghy, you will admire the beach of Santa Maria dell'Isola, the Grotta dello Scheletro, also known as Grotta Azzurra, the superb Formicoli beach, and Capo Vaticano. During the various stops, you will be given the opportunity to dive into the sea and snorkel.

What we will do
The meeting is at the port of Tropea (VV), 30 minutes before the departure time. We will be welcomed by a skipper who will guide us on the boat.
The tour will take us southwards on the Costa degli Dei, towards Capo Vaticano. The first stop will be Santa Maria dell'Isola di Tropea, characterised by a white beach and azure sea. Immediately afterwards we will skirt the Sanctuary of medieval origin, the symbol of the town, erected on a rock.
After resuming navigation, we will arrive at Capo Vaticano, a corner of paradise that opens its doors to let us immediately admire the beautiful bay of Praia i Focu, reachable only by sea, and then take our first dip in the bay of Grotticelle.
We then set off in the direction of Formicoli, a small bay with emerald waters and shallow waters, which hides in its waters the remains of an ancient Roman port, now home to many different species. Wearing masks and snorkels, we will snorkel and admire the beautiful seabed rich in flora and fauna.
We will then head towards the Grotta dello Skeleton, also known as the Grotta Azzurra, where the light reflected inside creates very special plays of light.
The tour will end with a return to the starting point and will last a total of 3 hours.

The boat tour is for everyone, adults and children, and has no age limit.
Other information
The excursion can be booked from May to October, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 12 participants.
Children up to the age of 3 participate free of charge.
We will be on board a 10-metre rubber dinghy, approved for 35 people and equipped with every comfort, including awning, comfortable seats and climbing ladder. Small dogs are allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
