Full description
In this corner of Sardinia, the real hosts are not shy and always put on a show. Yes, we are talking about them: the friendly dolphins that inhabit the waters of Olbia!
Among the waves surrounding Figarolo Island, you will have the unique opportunity to meet these incredible mammals in their natural habitat, guided by an expert skipper who knows their every secret hiding place.
This will be an approximately 4-hour dinghy adventure that will take you to discover the majesty of the cliffs of Capo Figari and the wild tranquillity of Cala Moresca. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Olbia (SS) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion. After a quick briefing, we will be ready to set sail!
We will leave the harbour to cross the inner gulf and head towards the Figarolo area, which can be reached in about 25 minutes.
We will start sailing at reduced speed for dolphin watching: we will observe the dolphins that assiduously frequent these waters, attracted by the fish farms. With a bit of luck, we will be able to admire their jumps and evolutions just a few metres away from us, while the skipper will tell us interesting facts and scientific insights about the species. The observation session will last between 30 and 50 minutes, with full respect for the animals.
Afterwards, we will head towards the impressive cliffs of Capo Figari. Here we will make a swimming and snorkelling stop of around 30 to 40 minutes to explore the seabed rich in life, using the snorkelling masks provided on board.
We will then continue on to Cala Moresca or stay close to the island of Figarolo for a second stop, depending on the conditions of the day. During this stage of navigation, we will keep our eyes open towards the coast to spot the colony of mouflon living on the rocks. Between dips, we will enjoy a moment of refreshment with water and cold drinks included.
Finally, we will begin the return trip back to port. The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, with no age limit; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to persons with motor disabilities who are incompatible with boarding, disembarking and staying on board.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women.

The activity takes place from May until October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a 7. 5-metre dinghy with a 250 hp engine, equipped with a large awning, comfortable cushions and a radio. Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There are free parking spaces on site, as well as convenient toilet facilities with showers and a bar/restaurant.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
