Full description
Let us guess. You are on holiday in Olbia and would like to visit the islands of Tavolara and Molara.
We know this because they are unmissable destinations, which you can explore on our dinghy excursion: in the company of a skipper, venture into theTavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area between bathing stops and a stop ashore.
And toast this half-day experience on board with a typical Sardinian aperitif!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 15 minutes before 11 a.m. at the meeting point in Olbia (SS). We will be welcomed by the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure in the sea of Sardinia!
Once all the participants have gathered, a short briefing will take place during which the skipper will explain the rules of the boat and provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.
Finally, navigation can begin: we will venture into the Gulf of Olbia, spotting the characteristic militia farms and passing by the historic lighthouse. We will then sail in the direction of theProtected Marine Area of Tavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo: swimming stops are planned at the most spectacular destinations such as Cala della Contessa, Spiaggia del Dottore and Isola dei Cavalli.
We will then reach the island of Tavolara, also known as the 'world's smallest kingdom': after skirting it, we will land for a 30-minute shore break to spend at leisure. We will return on board to resume sailing to discover the cliffs and caves on the eastern side of the island, before stopping for a swim in the natural pools of Molara Island.
In the meantime, an aperitif (included) based on local products such as guttiau bread, sausage and cheese accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink will be served on board. It will also be possible to bring your own food and drinks on board.
We will then return to the meeting point at 15:30. The experience will last a total of four and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge but must report their presence on board by contacting the skipper at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a 7-metre long Zar 65 Suite dinghy equipped with sun cushions, a stern sofa, awning, climbing ladder and stereo. Shoes are not allowed on board, you remain barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.
