But how beautiful (and how good) Calabria is!
And this excursion is proof of that: you will sail to discover the Costa degli Dei, from Tropea to Capo Vaticano, admiring the coast's main attractions. You will be in the company of a friendly crew and a local guide, ready to tell you anecdotes and curiosities during the navigation.
A 3-hour experience, enriched by an aperitif of typical Calabrian products!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Tropea (VV). We will be greeted by thecrew, who will welcome us on board!
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will be ready to set sail to discover the Costa degli Dei. The first sights we will see during the navigation will be the scenic Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola and the Grotta dello Skeleton; we will then stop near the Scoglio di Riaci for an initial swimming stop of about 30 minutes.
We will then pass by Formicoli, Praia di Fuoco and Grotticella Bay; in the latter natural setting we will stop for a second swim stop of about 30 minutes. Back on board, an aperitif will be served with typical Calabrian products such as assorted bruschette accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
We will continue until we reach Capo Vaticano; the navigation will be accompanied by a local guide who will tell stories and curiosities about the attractions encountered. We will then reverse course to return to Tropea, for a final swimming stop of about 30 minutes in the shadow of the evocative Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.

The experience is available from April to October. The excursion is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.
Theboat is a 12-metre-long dinghy equipped with a canopy. Dogs are not allowed on board.
Options are available for people with food allergies and/or intolerances: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements.
An additional shuttle service is available from Tropea, Ricadi, Zambrone, Parghelia, Briatico or Capo Vaticano at a cost of €5.00 each way per person to be paid on site; the service is also available from other destinations on request. Contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request the service.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
