Full description
Climb aboard an inflatable boat and sail along the Costa degli Dei to Capo Vaticano. The tour will let you discover the beauty of this stretch of Calabrian coastline, dotted with white sandy beaches, magnificent cliffs overlooking the sea and crystal clear water.
The excursion includes a 20-30 minute snorkelling stop and a series of swimming stops in the turquoise waters of the coastline chosen by the gods as their home.
You can also admire the caves that open up in the rock, including the characteristic Skeleton Cave. An aperitif stop with chips and prosecco is planned in one of the caves. Set off with us!
What we will do
We will meet at the embarkation pier in Tropea, where the skipper will be waiting for us with our dinghy.
Once settled in, we will begin sailing along the beautiful Costa degli Dei to Capo Vaticano. The name of this picturesque stretch of coastline derives from the legend that the gods were so enchanted by its beauty that they chose it as their home. On board our dinghy we will admire the white sandy beaches, framed by jagged rocks that plunge into a deep turquoise sea.
We will then don a mask and snorkel to snorkel and discover the beauty of the seabed for about 20 to 30 minutes. There will also be other breaks to allow us to dive from the dinghy and swim at the most picturesque spots on our itinerary.
Along the way, we will be able to admire several caves, such as the Grotta dello Skeletro, also known as the Grotta Bianca (White Cave) due to a particular effect produced by the light penetrating inside and giving the bodies submerged in water an almost cadaverous pallor.
The dinghy will enter one of the caves, where we will make our aperitif stop with chips and a glass of prosecco (included). Afterwards, we will resume navigation towards the starting point. The total duration of the activity will be 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Infants must be held by their parents for the duration of the excursion.
The dinghy is not wheelchair accessible.

The activity takes place from the beginning of May until the end of September, subject to verification of the marine weather conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 persons.
The dinghy used for the tour is 7.25 m long, approved for 14 people, and equipped with numerous amenities, such as awning, fridge and cushions. Small dogs are allowed on board.
Both a large free car park and a pay car park are available near the embarkation point.
