Get ready: two dives into the blue await you!
With this half-day Discovery Scuba Diving you can explore the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area with two dives with a PADI instructor!
Put on your mask and fins and let the adventure begin!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time indicated on the calendar, at the meeting point in Sorrento (NA) . Awaiting us will be the PADI instructor who will accompany us on our first scuba dive. After a brief presentation of the staff and an introductory briefing, we will receive the necessary equipment (including wetsuit, mask, fins, GAV, regulator, tanks) .
Once ready, we will board an inflatable boat to reach the most suitable diving spot, chosen from pearls such as the Baia di Tuolo or Mitigliano. During the trip, which will take between 5 and 20 minutes, we will familiarise ourselves with the equipment and learn the basic rules of scuba diving (also shown in the PADI e-learning lesson to which we will have access) .
Once on site, we will do some in-water exercises such as emptying the mask, compensating and recovering the regulator. Then, finally, the actual diving will begin and, with the help of our instructor, we will descend to a depth of 10 metres. We will have about 45 minutes underwater to admire caves, sponges, madrepores, sinking coastlines, posidonia, fish, molluscs and much more.
And after some underwater exploration, we will re-board the boat to enjoy a refreshment of sweet or savoury snacks (chips or biscuits) and water. We will take a break of about one hour, relaxing in the sun and discussing the experience we have just had. Then, we will dive back into the sea for a second exciting 45-minute dive!
We will conclude the experience by returning to the starting point.
The activity will last a total of 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 10; children under 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate, you must be in good health and be comfortable with water. A medical certificate is required in the event of heart problems, epilepsy, diabetes or lung disease. It is not possible to participate with a cold. Scuba diving in the 24 hours preceding an aeroplane flight is strongly discouraged.
The activity is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
The experience is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required to participate.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to October.
The boat used will be a 7. 5-metre or 9. 5-metre dinghy, equipped with an awning and climbing ladder. One stays on board without shoes.
There are changing rooms with hot showers and toilets at the diving centre. Any personal valuables can be stored in a secure communal storage room.

Dogs are not allowed on board.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
