Full description
Dive the waters of Catania with a professional instructor. You will discover magnificent dive spots, such as the canyon with its long rock walls covered in false coral and sponges.
You can choose between asingle dive or a double dive, which involves a longer marine exploration at other dive sites.
You must have an Open Water Diver certification to participate!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the diving centre in Aci Castello. Here the instructor will be waiting for us, with whom we will walk to the chosen dive site.
Once on the seashore, the instructor will provide us withdiving equipment (included) and give us a short briefing on the activity. There are mainly four dive spots: the Lido Wall, the Presepe, the Praghe and the Canyon.
The Presepe, for example, is characterised by rocks similar to tall spires that stand out in the water for more than 10 metres. In this part of the seabed there is also a small lava cave that houses the statuettes of Jesus, Joseph and Mary. During the dive we can encounter groupers, lobsters and various species of fish.
The dive spot called Canyon, on the other hand, is made up of two long rock walls that run parallel for about 30 metres. The walls are covered with sponges and false coral, and rich marine fauna can be seen between the cracks.
When booking, we will have the choice between asingle or double dive. In the first case, we will return to the diving centre after about 1 hour. The stay underwater will be about 45 minutes.
If we opt for thedouble dive, we will be able to continue and reach other spots for a total of 2 hours of underwater experience. At the end we will always return to the diving centre.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
