If exploring the seabed is your passion and you have a diving licence, the treasures of theIsole Ciclopi Protected Marine Area are waiting for you!
Join this dive for experienced divers to discover the lava seabed rich in fish, crustaceans and molluscs that characterise this area of Sicily.
Departure is from Aci Castello, in the province of Catania. The staff will select the most suitable dive site for the group based on the marine weather conditions. Dive with us!
What we will do
The meeting point is in Aci Castello at the time chosen during the booking process. Here we will meet our diving guide and board a motor boat that will take us to themarine protected area of the Isole Ciclopi in the Gulf of Catania.
Once we have prepared and donned ourdiving equipment, we will dive to a number of sites identified by the staff to discover the incredible richness of these lava seabeds. Each time, the dive site will be chosen according to the level of the participants, from beginner(Open Water Diver) to advanced(Advanced Open Water).
The underwater world of the Isole Ciclopi will offer us indescribable emotions: we will swim among colourful fish, admire the secret life of crustaceans, molluscs and all the species that make the Mediterranean Sea so rich in life. We will walk through underwater canyons and explore some amazing wrecks dating back to World War II. In short, it will be an unforgettable adventure!
During the dives, the participants' safety will be guaranteed by our dive guides, who have decades of experience. Depending on your diving licence, the diving depth will change: up to 18 m for Open level, up to 30 m for Advanced and up to 40 m for Deep.
At the end of the experience, we will re-board and return to the starting point.
The total duration of the activity will be 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is only open to participants in possession of a diving licence, which is a mandatory requirement.
The minimum age for participation is 10 years.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure time.
When booking, you will be able to select the option'with diving equipment' if you wish to rent it for the experience, or'without diving equipment' if you intend to participate with your own.
The activity is available all year round, subject to marine weather conditions.
