Have you ever walked a donkey? You can do so by taking part in our donkey and pony walk in Recoaro Terme, in the province of Vicenza.
In the company of a guide and the friendly Sole, Geppi, Alba and Luna, you will explore little-trodden paths and incredible panoramic spots.
A two-hour experience to unplug and rediscover the slow pace of nature, crowned by a typical snack in a meadow. Impossible to resist their sweetness!
What we will do
The appointment is in Recoaro Terme (VI) . Here we will meet the guide, who will introduce us to the real protagonists of the day: the donkeys Sole and Geppi and the ponies Alba and Luna. We will begin with about 30 minutes of welcome, during which we will be able to brush and cuddle them, learning how to approach them properly and discovering many curiosities about their character.
Once we are in tune with the animals, we will learn how to lead them by hand with the harness. We will then start our walk along a dirt path through fields and woods, far from the more touristy areas. The approximately 4 km-long trail will take us along a lesser-known section of the 'Big Trees Trail', from which we will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
During the walk, we will share the leading of the animals, taking turns to enjoy the experience to the full (if the guide allows it, children under 12 can even ride for a short distance! ).
Halfway along, we will stop in a meadow for a snack (included) . The snack will be based on local cheeses and cold cuts from the nearby mountain pastures, accompanied by cold drinks. After this moment of relaxation and conviviality, we will return to the starting point.
The activity lasts a total of about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an easy level and suitable for everyone from the age of 3 years. Minors must necessarily be accompanied by an adult.
The route has a difference in height of about 150 metres , so the experience is not accessible to people with motor disabilities.

The experience is available all year round. It is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants and can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people.
Free parking is available on site and the location is also easily accessible by public transport.
A snack with local products is included in the price. In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance using the contact details on your booking confirmation e-mail so that an alternative can be arranged.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
