The donkey is your favourite animal.
And if it isn’t yet, it certainly will be after our donkey walk in Barni: accompanied by a guide and their ever-so-sweet (and very hairy) team, you’ll walk through stunning natural surroundings with panoramic views of Lake Lecco.
A 2-hour experience, with a snack included!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the time indicated at the meeting point in Barni (CO). Once there, we’ll meet the guide who’ll be taking us on this adventure!
Once everyone has gathered and we’ve been given all the necessary information, we’ll get to know the donkeys: Mami, Miranda, Selvaggio and the rest of the team. We’ll then be paired up and get to know our new adventure companion, grooming them and preparing them for the experience.
And here we are, ready for our walk with the donkeys: we’ll set off into a stunning natural setting, walking through the woods. Along the way, we’ll tackle a few climbs to reach a vantage point overlooking Lake Lecco. And to recharge our batteries, there’ll be a sweet snack: a slice of cake or seasonal fruit, or other delicacies from a nearby farm stay (subject to availability) , accompanied by a drink.
We’ll then head back to the meeting point. The experience lasts about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions.
You must be aged 12 or over to lead the animal (participant).
Family package (2 animals): €100. 00 per family comprising 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12. Please contact us to make a booking enquiry for one or more families.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
The organiser has 4 animals available for a maximum of 4 participants, each of whom will lead an animal. Each participant may be accompanied by a maximum of 2 accompanying persons.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the organiser using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know of any dietary requirements.
Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
