If your favourite character from the cartoon Shrek has always been Donkey, this donkey trek in the province of Alessandria is just the thing for you!
Walk for two hours in the nature in the company of sweet donkeys, discover some curiosities about their habits and fill them with caresses. Then enjoy a delicious snack at the farm, prepared with typical local products.

What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Cantalupo Ligure (AL), where our guide will be waiting for us.
We will go straight to the stable to meet the donkeys who will accompany us during the experience: Domenico and Umberto! At that point, we will have a briefing of about 20 minutes to better understand their needs and habits, then we will take some time to prepare them for the trek.
Once they are ready, we will start walking along an itinerary that will alternate between woodland and pastureland stretches. It is a 3-km loop trail, mostly flat and on gravel terrain. We will be surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, which will convey peace and tranquillity. The donkeys will be at our side and we will be able to lead them with the longhorn. In addition, we will be able to take advantage of the scheduled breaks to cuddle them a little and take some souvenir photos!
Finally, after about 2 hours of trekking, we will return to the starting point, clean up and say goodbye to our four-legged friends and have a delicious snack (included) of cake, scones, salami and typical cheeses.
The experience, including snack and initial briefing, will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Children under 18 may only take part if accompanied by a responsible adult.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
