Full description
Discover the marine wonders that lurk in the blue: you will have a double scuba dive in Taormina, guided by expert instructors.
You will dive first in the waters of the Blue Grotto and then in theIsola Bella nature reserve, for a double date with the excitement of the seabed!
For the dives you can use your own equipment or, if you prefer, we will provide it for you. When booking, choose the desired option and get ready to go!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the port of Giardini Naxos (ME), where we will meet the experienced and qualified guide who will accompany us on the dives. After collecting everything we need and holding an introductory briefing on the activity programme and safety regulations, we will embark in the direction of Taormina.
The first dive will take place at the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto), so called because of the particular colouring of its waters. Sponges, bryozoans, astroids and starfish of all colours and sizes carpet the walls of the cave. As we swim between a depth of 14 and 24 m, we will find ourselves surrounded by a variety of fish and life forms, which make these depths particularly lively.
The second part of the experience will see us dive nearIsola Bella, between 5 and 22 m deep. Despite the shallowness, this is one of the most interesting dives in the area. We will be able to encounter numerous species of fish such as bream, sea bass, saddled bre am, shoals of salps, and even the colourful parrot fish, now a permanent presence along the Taormina coastline.
The activity, including preparation, transfers and double dive, lasts three hours in total. Both dives are of medium-easy level and are intended for divers in possession of an Open Water Diver licence.

This activity can take place from April to October, weather permitting.
When booking, you can choose the option with or without equipment included. If you decide to use your own equipment, a tank and ballast will still be provided.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
