3-hour dune buggy tour in Geremeas

Set off on an adventure and discover theSardinian hinterland with adune buggy excursion through the hills of Geremeas, a famous tourist resort a few kilometres from Quartu Sant'Elena, in the Gulf of Cagliari.

This tour led by local guides will give you the opportunity to discover the hidden side of Sardinia, the one far from the beaches and tourist areas, where nature is the real protagonist.

An enjoyable route through the dense Mediterranean maquis, past waterfalls, streams, dirt paths and landscapes opening onto the sea. And at lunch, a stop at an agritourism to taste local specialities.

What we will do

The meeting point is Geremeas, a hamlet of Quartu Sant'Elena (CA). After meeting the guides and holding the introductory briefing on the route, we will board the dune buggies, the two-seater cars with automatic transmission, perfect for an off-road excursion in the midst of nature. As we move away from the coast and into the hinterland, the landscape becomes wild and fascinating. We will travel along paths through forests, cross the wadders of watercourses and stop at the most scenic viewpoints, such as the Sephinx, which opens out over the entire Costa Rei. 

For lunch we will be guests of the agriturismo Sa Mindula, where a typical Sardinian lunch awaits us, with a mix of starters, three first courses, two main courses, fruit, dessert and coffee (lunch is included in the price but, for those not interested, it is possible to choose the "no lunch"option when booking).

In total, the activity lasts 3 hours, of which approximately 2 hours are spent driving (in the case of an excursion without lunch, a longer route will be taken, lasting approximately 3 hours).

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an intermediate level and is open to all B licence holders. Children from 2 years of age can also travel as passengers.

Other information

This activity is available from March to May and from October to December. The tour with lunch is confirmed with a minimum number of 6 people.

The centre has 5 dune buggies for a maximum total of 10 participants.

PLEASE NOTE: if you choose the option with lunch, when booking, you will be entitled to a 2-hour tour plus lunch at the farm; if you choose the option without lunch, you will be entitled to a 3-hour tour without lunch.

If you choose the tour without lunch, you can agree a different departure time with the guides.
