Full description
Discover the charm of the lagoon landscape with an e-bike excursion. Saddle up for an initial 15 km ride to Lio Maggiore, where you will board a private boat for a 30-minute crossing of the lagoon.
You will then land in the picturesque village of Lio Piccolo, the oldest lagoon settlement. Here you will stop at a restaurant to enjoy a lunch with typical local products, which will help you discover the area from a gastronomic point of view.
You will then climb back into the saddle to ride along a 25 km-long cycle path. You will be totally immersed in the lagoon landscape and will thus be able to fully experience a truly extraordinary territory from a naturalistic point of view.
What we will do
We will meet in Jesolo at 9 a.m. at the agreed meeting point, where the guide will be waiting for us with our rented e-bikes (included).
Once in the saddle, we will pedal for about 15 km until we reach the hamlet of Lio Maggiore at the eastern end of the Lagoon of Venice. At Lio Maggiore a boat awaits us on board which we will cross the lagoon.
After a crossing of about half an hour, we will arrive at Lio Piccolo, a picturesque location to the north of Cavallino Treporti. This is the oldest settlement in the area surrounded by the so-called fishing valleys, i.e. areas of the lagoon waters that have been used for fishing for hundreds of years. Today, Lio Piccolo is inhabited by only about twenty people.
We will stop at the Al Notturno restaurant in Lio Piccolo to enjoy an excellent lunch based on typical local products. We will all eat a cheerful starter and a fish-based first course, accompanied by water, wine and coffee.
Once lunch is over, we will return to Jesolo, covering a distance of 25 km. In the saddle of our e-bike we will return true Lio Maggiore, crossing lagoon landscapes of great beauty.
We will then pedal along the course of the Sile river to Jesolo, enjoying the spectacle of unspoilt nature. The route does not present any difficulty, as it is flat and the tour runs entirely along cycle paths. We will thus have the opportunity to fully experience nature without cars and motorbikes to disturb our pedalling.
The e-bike excursion covers a total of 45 km and lasts about 7 hours, with return at around 4 p.m.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, with no age limit, as the staff have carts and seats available to mount on the e-bikes. Children aged 0 to 5 years can participate in the tour free of charge.
Other information
The activity takes place every day from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants.
In the case of vegetarian participants or participants with food intolerances and allergies, it is necessary to contact the guide before the excursion so that special lunch menus can be prepared.
Small and medium-sized dogs are also allowed on the tour.
