Have you ever thought of exploring Valtellina on an electric bike?
Pick up your e-bike in Castione Andevenno (SO ) and choose the route best suited to your level, following the advice of the staff. Pedal effortlessly along the Sentiero Valtellina cycle path or follow the Via dei terrazzamenti that plunges through the vineyards of Valtellina.
When booking, you can choose whether to hire the e-bike for half a day (4 hours) or a full day (9 hours).
What we will do
Your e-bike is waiting for you in Castione Andevenno (SO ) at the pick-up point indicated in the booking confirmation. After signing the rental contract, the staff will provide you with a helmet and a TREK POWERFLY 7 pedal-assisted bike with front shock absorber, 625 W battery and arange of up to 6 hours.
Depending on your level of experience, you can choose different e-bike routes in the surrounding area. One of the easiest is the Sentiero Valtellina cycle path, with an asphalted surface for easy pedalling. Those who prefer to test themselves on a dirt road can follow the terraced route through the Valtellina vineyards and be enchanted by their beauty.
Some of the vantage points that can be reached by e-bike from Castione Andevenno are the Panchina Gigante Triangia, the Cassandre bridge, and the Sassella area, famous for its wine production.
At the end of the tour you will have to return the e-bike at the starting point, by 13:00 or 18:00 for the 4-hour rental (depending on pick-up time) or by 18:00 for the 9-hour rental.
Who it is aimed at
Rental is available from 14 years of age, with a minimum height of 1.55 m and a maximum weight of 100 kg.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The activity can be booked all year round.
The rented bike will be a front e-bike model TREK POWERFLY 7 from 2021, with a 625 W battery and a battery autonomy of up to 6 hours (depending on the weight and type of route chosen).
The e-bike is available in different sizes, from S (minimum 1.55 m) to XL (maximum 1.90 m). After confirming your booking, please contact the organiser to request the desired size; if the requested size is not available, the organiser may propose an alternative rental date.
A lock and charger for the e-bike are available on request.
A technical team and aspecialised workshop are available at the centre for the maintenance of e-bikes, as well as a bar for aperitifs and tastings. The meeting point is easily reached by public transport from Sondrio.
When signing the rental contract, a deposit of 100€ per e-bike will be required, with pre-authorisation on a credit card or cash.
