Would you like to explore the Val d'Orcia on a bike? Don't worry, you won't have to struggle up and down the beautiful Tuscan hills, because pedal assistance will help you.
Rent ane-bike in Chianciano Terme, in the province of Siena, and ride along the Strada del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano or reach the villages of Pienza and Monticchiello, choosing your itinerary in total freedom.
The e-bike will be at your disposal for the whole day... the pleasure of pedalling is yours!
What we will do
The appointment is in Chianciano Terme (SI), starting at 8:30 am.
After being welcomed by the staff and signing the rental contract, you will receive the desired e-bike of your choice from a variety of models, all front-mounted:
- eMTB Haibike HardNine 6 with aluminium frame, 29'' wheels, Yamaha motor, 630 Wh battery and a range of 60-70 km, ideal for sportive use;
- eMTB Haibike SDURO HardNine 5.0 with aluminium frame, 29'' wheels, Yamaha motor, 500 Wh battery and a range of 50-55 km, also suitable for rough terrain;
- Haibikie Alltrack Kids e-bike with aluminium frame, 24'' wheels, Yamaha motor and 400 Wh battery or Olympia Master 630 with aluminium frame, 26'' wheels, Ananda motor and 630 Wh battery.
Once you have collected your bike, awhole day of sport and fun awaits you on the roads of Tuscany. You can follow the route you prefer from among the many available in the surrounding area, for example riding along the Strada del Vino Nobile that leads to Montepulciano through the vineyards.
Or you can cycle along country roads to the Montepulciano lake and its wildlife reserve. Or you can push on to the Val d'Orcia to visit the pretty villages of Pienza and Monticchiello.
You must return your e-bike to the rental point by 7:30 p.m. (except for the period from November to March, when return is required by 5:30 p.m.).
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all, from 8 years of age or a minimum height of 1.33 m.
The presence of an adult is required to sign the rental contract.
Other information
Rental is available daily, all year round.
E-bikes are of the front type and come with helmet, tyre repair kit, storage bag and lock. Child seats can be requested at the venue at an extra charge of €5; dog trolleys are not available.
Other services to be requested from the organisers after booking confirmation are: pick-up and drop-off at a location other than Chianciano Terme (price varies depending on location) and accompaniment by a guide (price varies depending on duration and itinerary).
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
