Discover the secrets of the capital by hiring an e-bike.
When booking, you can decide whether to rent a city e-bike for a leisurely ride around the city, or an e-MTB, a pedal-assisted mountain bike perfect for the adventurous.
Get on the saddle of your electric bike and discover Rome and the Appia Antica Park, among catacombs, churches, aqueducts and Roman ruins. You choose the itinerary!
What we will do
The appointment is at the rental point in Rome at the time selected during the booking process. After signing the rental contract and handing over an identity document, the guide will give us our e-bike.
Depending on our choice during the booking, we will be given a city e-bike or an e-MTB suitable for our height. The city e-bike is an electric bike suitable for a quiet city ride, while thee-MTB is the perfect electric mountain bike for the more adventurous and for those who are at least 170 cm tall.
Electric bikes will allow us to pedal effortlessly for a long time to discover all the secrets of Rome. The guide will be ready to suggest different routes according to our wishes, such as the route in the Appia Antica Park, to discover catacombs and Roman ruins. But in the end we will choose the itinerary in absolute freedom. At this point, all we have to do is get in the saddle and ride!
We will return to the meeting point to return the e-bike before closing time. The rental will last 7 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 11. To hire an e-bike, aminimum height of 135 cm and a maximum weight of 120 kg are required.
Rental is not recommended for pregnant women and those with back problems.
Other information
Rental is available daily, all year round. The rental outlet is open from November to March from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; from April to October during the week from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and at weekends from 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
When booking you can choose
- citye-bike - an electric bike perfect for a quiet city tour;
- e-MTB - an electric mountain bike suitable for more adventurous routes and for those with a minimum height of 170 cm.
Children up to a maximum weight of 22 kg may ride with a special rear seat on their parents' e-MTB . Please request this from the organiser at the contact details received in your booking confirmation email. It will not be possible to add any child seats to the city e-bike.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Dog trolleys are not available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
