In the Ossola Valley, viticulture is 'heroic', but your exploration will be pure lightness thanks to assisted pedalling!
We propose you discover the valley with an e-bike that does the dirty work for you, leaving you plenty of time to admire the castles of Vogogna and the alleyways of Domodossola without breaking a sweat. It will be five hours between nature and history, with a stop at a local winery to discover the legendary Ossola mountain wines.
Ancient vines and zero fatigue: if this is not the right way to experience the territory, we don't know what is.
What we will do
The meeting is at 9. 30 a. m. in Domodossola (VB), where the guide will welcome us. After an initial briefing to familiarise ourselves with the bike, we will get on our e-bikes and set off on our excursion.
We will start cycling along the cycle path along the Toce river, surrounded by lush forests and historic bridges, breathing in the crisp air of the valley. Our route will first take us to discover Domodossola, the nerve centre of the valley, with its ancient alleys and authentic mountain atmosphere.
Next, we will continue along the river until we reach Vogogna, one of the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Italy'. Here we will stop for about 1 hour to admire the majesty of the Visconti Castle and the characteristic stone houses that make this medieval village a real gem. On the way, we will be able to observe the typical terraces of the area, visual evidence of the heroic viticulture that characterises these slopes.
We will then head to the Patrone Vini winery , where a guided tasting of three wines awaits us: Basin spumante extra Dry, Prunent Stella - Valli Ossolane Nebbiolo and Rosato Testa Rusa (varying according to seasonality) . Each wine will be accompanied by a tasting of local products such as cold cuts, cheeses and other local specialities.
After about 1½ to 2 hours of rest at the winery, we will get back in the saddle for the last part of the route. We will return to the starting point around 2. 30 p. m. , thus completing our loop of around 34 km. The activity will last about 5 hours in total, including stops and tasting.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and is aimed at everyone. A minimum height of 140 cm is required to ride the e-bike.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Any accompanying minors or astemious persons will be served water or fruit juices, subject to availability.
Other information
The tour is available from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
There are no child seats or baby carriages available; if you own one, you can bring your own. Dogs are not allowed to participate.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
