Full description
Sardinia is not only sea and spectacular beaches, but also hinterland characterised by wild nature and breathtakingly beautiful views. If you want to get to know the island from a new point of view, this e-bike tour is just for you.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you will set off from Baunei along a mix of asphalted roads and dirt tracks to reach the Golgo Plateau, where there is an enormous chasm, one of the deepest in Europe.
This place is also rich in archaeological, historical and religious points of interest and incredibly beautiful wooded areas. In short, this excursion will make you fall in love with Sardinia once again!
What we will do
The appointment is in Baunei, in the province of Nuoro. We will be welcomed by a guide who will hand over the e-bikes and, after a quick briefing on the activity, we will set off to discover the Golgo Plateau via an ancient path.
First we will ride for a few kilometres along the ss 125 road, then we will take a dirt road with an important but easy gradient. We will thus reach the heart of the plateau, rich in areas of archaeological, historical and religious interest.
Along the way, the guide will tell us many stories and curiosities about the place, letting us know Sardinia from another point of view. There will also be panoramic stops to immortalise the landscape in wonderful photographs. In fact, we will enjoy the breathtaking view of the entire Ogliastra region.
At the end of the tour, we will return to our starting point in Baunei via the main asphalt road. The tour lasts a total of 5 hours.

The tour is suitable for everyone, as long as you know how to ride a bike. The minimum age to participate is 15 years.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
