Full description

Embark on an adventurous e-bike tour in the Langhe and explore the magnificent 'Colline del Barbaresco' (Barbaresco Hills), the birthplace of the Barbaresco wine, the land of white truffles and hazelnuts.

You'll pedal effortlessly along a 40 km route almost entirely off-road, among vineyards and headlands, in a fun up and downhill ride for everyone.

With you will be a Piedmont Region Cycling Tour Guide, a professional with years of experience who will show you the best routes to offer you an experience in the name of safety and exclusivity.

What we will do

The appointment is at 9.30 a.m. in Neive, in the province of Cuneo. Here we will be welcomed by the guide and together we will have an introductory briefing on the functioning of the e-bikes and the route. Afterwards, we will be given our electric bikes (included in the participation fee).

When we are all ready, we will begin the ride, immersing ourselves in the vineyards, to visit the villages where Barbaresco wine is made: Neive, Barbaresco, Treiso, San Rocco Seno d'Elvio.

The route is 40 km, with an elevation gain of 1,200 metres, mostly on dirt roads. Although not reaching high altitudes, the hills of the Langhe are challenging: with an e-bike you can enjoy the climbs without too much fatigue and let yourself go on the descents, which although steep are never technically difficult.

Halfway along the route we will make a short stop to eat something and regain energy (lunch is not included in the fee). Afterwards, we will resume the return journey through vineyards and headlands, in an enjoyable up and downhill walk.

At the end of the excursion, around 15.00, it will be possible to stop for a wine tasting in one of the many wine cellars in the area.

The activity lasts a total of about 6½ hours.
