Full description
If you love cycling and nature, you cannot miss our e-bike tour through the Sassella vineyards. It will be your chance to get to know an area characterised by terraced vineyards and enchanting views.
On board an e-bike, a pedal-assisted bicycle, you will cross the footbridge over the Mallero river and admire the Big Bench in Triangia, a rotating bench that is part of the Big Bench Community Project, set up to promote local tourism and artisan excellence.
In short, you will visit the most evocative places in Valtellina that we are sure will remain in your heart. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio. We will be welcomed by a guide who will provide us with the e-bike and briefly illustrate the route we are going to take.
We will then get on the bike to cross the wonderful footbridge over the Mallero, a suspension bridge over the river of the same name. After about 30 minutes of pedalling, we will stop to admire the Big Bench in Triangia, a huge bench built as a symbol of tourism and local craftsmanship.
We will ride along the Via dei Terrazzamenti, a 70-km-long path of terraced vineyards, which touches several villages in the province of Sondrio. Along this route, we will stop at an affiliated structure for a tasting of 4 wines with a light lunch of cured meats and cheeses, which will also introduce us to the Valtellina from a food and wine point of view.
Finally, we will visit the "Sassella" area, where the wine of the same name, appreciated all over the world, is produced, before returning to our starting point. The excursion lasts a total of 6 hours, including 4 hours by e-bike and 2 hours of wine tasting.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is of medium difficulty, so it is suitable for people who are used to cycling, 18 years of age and above.

The tour can be booked from mid-March to the end of May and in September and October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
