Follow the horizon southwards to see the transition from the beaches of Romagna to the castles of the Marche!
Join this e-bike tour to the Rocca di Gradara, departing from Rimini. Accompanied by a cycling guide, you’ll ride an electric bike, making the route easy and enjoyable.
A 4-hour excursion that takes in the most famous spots along the coast before climbing up to the famous fortified village, the setting for the love story of Paolo and Francesca.
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the departure time at the designated meeting point in Rimini (RN). There, the cycling guide will provide us with our e-bikes and protective helmets. Before setting off, the guide will hold a brief technical briefing to assess the participants’ experience and explain how the electric motor works.
We’ll head towards the coast, mainly using cycle paths and secondary roads that are either hilly or flat. We’ll follow a dynamic route, taking us past some of the area’s most famous seaside resorts, including Riccione, Misano Adriatico, the charming little harbour of Porto Verde, Cattolica and Gabicce Mare. During the journey, we will make short stops of around 10 minutes to rest and take souvenir photos.
Our main destination will be the majestic Rocca di Gradara, situated just beyond the regional border. Once we reach the foot of the medieval fortress, we will dismount from our bikes for a break lasting around 30 minutes in total. We will use this free time within the fortified village to stroll along the characteristic streets. During the break, we will also enjoy a light snack (included) , usually consisting of fresh fruit or taralli.
Finally, we will return to the starting point.
The activity will end after a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 16 and over who is at least 1. 60 metres tall. Those under 18 may only take part if accompanied by a responsible adult. Children aged 3 to 6 and weighing up to 22 kg may take part by paying a special rate (‘Children’ in the booking box) and sitting in a child seat.
Other information
The tour runs daily from April to December and will be confirmed once a minimum of two participants has been reached.
To take part, a deposit of €50 in cash is required on site as a security deposit to cover any damage or misconduct on the road; this will be refunded in full at the end of the excursion. Furthermore, the fee includes third-party liability insurance. In addition, it is possible to take out an additional accident insurance policy on site, at a cost of €5 per person.
Those who wish to shorten the return journey may opt to return by train with their bicycle, subject to payment of an additional €3 per person directly at the station.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
