Full description
Have you ever dreamed of flying over the water like a superhero? That's exactly how you'll feel as you glide over the sea of Sicily aboard your e-foil board.
In this one-hour lesson you will learn to master the control of the e-foil, a modern electric board raised above the surface of the water. To do this you will need all your balance, because the e-foil will put it to the test!
After a theoretical part together with an instructor, you will put into practice what you have learnt in the beautiful bay of Giardini Naxos.
What we will do
We will meet in Giardini Naxos, at the place and time indicated during the booking process.
There theinstructor will be waiting for us, who will start with a 15/25 minute theoretical-practical lesson (depending on our starting level) to explain how the e-foil works and the surfing techniques. The instructor will follow us on another board while we test ourselves with the e-foil.
Compared to water sports such as jetsurfing, e-foil requires more balance and muscle strength, especially for beginners. In the course of the lesson, we will learn how to distribute our weight on the board correctly and how to use the controller to move on the water.
We will experience the sensation of flying over the waves, thanks to the special features of this board, equipped with a tube that goes 1 metre below the water and powered by an electric motor. The battery lasts 2 hours, while the maximum speed reached is 40 km/h.
After the introduction we will move on to the practical part, which will last between 30 and 45 minutes. On our own we will test what we have learnt by taking an e-foil ride in the bay of Naxos. Our flight over the water will be so much fun and adrenaline-filled that we can't wait to book another lesson!
In total, the lesson will last 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone from the age of 12. Up to the age of 16, permission from a parent is required.
E-foil requires good physical fitness and athleticism. Those who already have experience with other sports such as surfing and jetsurfing are at an advantage, but the experience is also suitable for beginners.
The maximum weight supported is 130 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round, weather permitting.
The equipment includes a 1.70 m x 70 cm board, equipped with a controller. The electric battery lasts 2 hours and the maximum speed reached is 40 km/h.
On site, there is anarea equipped with changing rooms, toilets, showers and the possibility of leaving personal belongings.
The area can be reached by public transport (there is a bus stop a few metres away) or by car.
During the winter months, a wetsuit is given in addition to the normal equipment.
