Take part in aguided electric mountain-bike excursion and immerse yourself in the landscapes of the Madonie Park, a true paradise for lovers of Sicilian nature and culture.
This wonderful bicycle itinerary will let you discover paths immersed in the green, far from the stress and confusion of tourist areas. A tour in the midst of nature, suitable for anyone with a minimum of mountain-bike experience.
Starting from Piano Battaglia, the local expert guide will take you on one of the most spectacular tours of the Madonie. Saddle up and get ready to go!
What we will do
The appointment is set at Piano Battaglia in Petralia Sottana (PA) at 9:00 am. Here we will meet the guide and , once we have formed the group, handed over the e-MTBs and supplied the helmets, we will be ready to set off.
A few minutes after our departure, a beautiful place with an extraordinary amount of plants will appear before our eyes: theQuacella Amphitheatre. From this point, a marvellous panorama will accompany us on our descent towards Piano Trifoglio, from where the asphalt road will begin, leading us to Portella Colla. Here we will again take a dirt track that will lead us over a plateau and then uphill to Monte dei Cervi (1,794 m a.s.l.). Here we can regain our strength by stopping for a drink and something to eat in a mountain refuge.
Once we have regained our energy, we will start our descent towards the beautiful Mandria del Conte lake, on which poplars, maples and beeches are reflected. We will continue with a relaxing walk through the woods along the Sentiero dei Daini (Deer Path ) until we close the itinerary again at Piano Battaglia.
The duration of the excursion is about 3 hours for a ring-route almost entirely on dirt road of about 10 km and 400 m of altitude difference, which can be done - if necessary - with the aid of assisted pedalling.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone from 14 years of age.
The assisted pedalling also makes the experience suitable for those who are not particularly well trained.

This activity is bookable from April to the beginning of November and will be confirmed when there are at least 2 participants, weather permitting.
If necessary, the timetable and route may be changed even without prior notice, due to weather, traffic or other force majeure reasons.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
