Full description
There are two things you can do to spend an original day in Gubbio. The first is to run three laps around the Bargello Fountain to get your 'madman's licence'. The second is to rent an e-bike!
Choose assisted pedalling and discover the charm of this medieval town and its surroundings in total freedom, riding a city bike or electric mountain bike.
You won't have to worry about a thing: the rental also includes helmet, lock and a backpack with repair kit.
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Gubbio (PG), where the staff will welcome you.
After a brief initial briefing and the signing of the rental contract, you will receive your e-bike, choosing from several models available with an autonomy of up to 70 km, together with all the necessary equipment for your safety, such as a helmet and padlock.
The staff will also give you some advice on the best routes to take according to your preferences. An unmissable stage will be the ascent to the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo, located at the top of Mount Ingino: thanks to the electric motor you will overcome the hairpin bends effortlessly, being rewarded with an incredible view that sweeps over the entire valley as far as the Apennines.
Continue your tour towards the historic centre, cycling between Piazza Grande and the Palazzo dei Consoli, or choose to venture along the "Sentiero della Pace" towards Assisi for a stretch immersed in the silence of nature.
After exploring enchanted villages and hidden corners of the province of Perugia, you will return to the base to return your bike. It will be possible to return the bike by 6. 30 p. m. on the day of hire or at the latest by 8. 30 a. m. the following day (except Sundays, which are closed) .
Who it is aimed at
The minimum rental age is 18 years. E-bike models for adults start at a height of 150 cm.
Minors may participate accompanied by an adult from the age of 10 (minimum height 130 cm and minimum weight 30 kg) .
Child seats are available on request (from 2 years of age and up to a maximum of 20 kg) at an extra cost of €10 to be paid on site on the day of the activity; trolleys are not available.
Other information
Rental is available all year round, Monday to Saturday.
At the site you can choose from various models of front e-bikes, ranging from city bikes to mountain bikes. Each bike is equipped with a powerful 500-550 watt motor and a battery with a range of up to 70 km. Together with your bike, you will receive a helmet, lock and tyre repair kit (if you use the latter, a 10€ fee will be charged on site) .
Extra services on request, with payment on site: accompaniment by a cycling guide (€160 half day or €310 full day) ; transport of e-bikes (€8 each way within 5 km, then +€1/km) ; luggage transport (€5 per luggage + €1/km) ; transfer within 15 km (€10 per person) ; transfer from the airport (€15 per person) .
Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
