The secret to effortless cycling? Rent an e-bike!
We are waiting for you in Marta, on Lake Bolsena, to experience a day in the saddle full of emotions. With an electric trekking bike or an E-MTB (your choice when booking), you can ride around the lake to explore its villages, such as Capodimonte and Montefiascone.
Or you can go further afield to reach the Via Francigena, as far as you feel like pedalling!
What we will do
The appointment is in Marta (VT ) starting at 9.00 a.m., to pick up the e-bike chosen at the time of booking.
The centre has trekking e-bikes (suitable for easy routes along the lake, even on dirt roads, with 420 Wh and 320 Wh batteries and a range of 70 km) and E-MTBs (suitable for any type of route, with 420 Wh batteries and a range of 70 km).
On delivery of your e-bike, the staff will advise you on the best routes to take around Lake Bolsena. Once you are in the saddle, you choose the itinerary and destinations. You can take a complete tour and ride to Bolsena, a pretty village on the shores of the lake.
Or you can cycle to Montefiascone and Capodimonte, a beautiful little town that climbs from the water to the top of a promontory. With an E-MTB you can also aim for the Via Francigena.... it just depends on your desire to pedal!
At the end of the day, you must return your e-bike to the pick-up point by 18:00.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. The person renting the e-bike must be of legal age.
Theminimum height for trekking e-bikes is 1.55 m, for e-bikes 1.58 m.
Other information
Rental is available daily, all year round.
The centre has:
- 2 trekking e-bikes, perfect for quieter routes, one with a 420 Wh battery and one with a 320 Wh battery, range of around 70 km;
- 2 front E-MTBs, suitable for all types of routes, with a 420 Wh battery and a range of around 70 km, one M for women and one L for men, from 1.58 m to 1.90 m tall.
After confirmation of the booking, it is possible to request the following as optional extras: helmet (5€); repair kit (8€); trolley for children 1-5 years of age, with a maximum weight of 25 kg and 117 cm in height (20€); child seat for children up to 20 kg (5€).
No dog carts are available, but small dogs(up to 4 kg) can easily be carried in the children's cart, in a separate compartment.
Ifnecessary, a roadside assistance service can be requested, to be arranged according to distance.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport from Viterbo; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
