Who eats and drinks better than monks? The Umbrian monks.
Join our e-bike tour in Panicale: the package includes e-bike hire, a visit to the abbey and an aperitif. You’ll cycle through olive groves and vineyards before recharging your batteries with authentic Umbrian specialities.
A 4-hour experience full of adventure, culture and flavour!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Tavernelle, a hamlet in the municipality of Panicale (PG) . Once there, you will meet the rental provider, who will be ready to hand over the e-bikes reserved for you.
These are MTB e-bikes, equipped with everything you need for a hassle-free experience. The rental provider will be sure to explain the bike’s features and how to use it.
Once in the saddle, you’ll set off into the stunning Umbrian countryside, following the GPS route: you’ll cycle through the Nestore Valley, passing through woods, olive groves and vineyards, and , after about an hour and a half, you’ll reach the Abbazia Sette Frati farmhouse. Here, you’ll take part in a tour of the abbey and enjoy an aperitif featuring local produce, consisting of a platter of cold cuts accompanied by a glass of wine.
Still on your bikes, you’ll then make your way back to the meeting point. The experience lasts approximately 4 hours.

To take part, you must be at least 155 cm tall.

The experience takes place all year round.
Technical details of the route: mixed terrain of tarmac and gravel; easy difficulty; 25 km, 500 m elevation gain.
Child-carrying trolleys (for up to 2 children with a combined weight of 50 kg) and dog-carrying trolleys are available for hire on site at a cost of €15. 00. Contact the hire company for further information and to book the service , with payment to be made on site.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
