The highlight of our e-bike day in the Bolognese Apennines?
Perhaps the itinerary studied by our Environmental Excursion Guide, which takes in the area's main natural and historical attractions: from the Second World War trenches to the Castle of Canossa.
Perhaps a lunch break organised at an establishment offering traditional dishes: from zampanelle to montanare.
The choice is yours, getting on your e-MTB and pedalling along with us for 40 km for a total experience of 6 hours.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 09:30 at the meeting point in Castel D'Aiano (BO), the highest municipality in theBologna Apennines.
On your arrival, I will hand over the e-MTB (pedal-assisted mountain bike), your companion in this adventure. In a briefing , I will explain to you how to brake downhill and how to tackle the climbs, depending on the terrain on which we will be pedalling; we will take purely unpaved routes for a total immersion in the landscape of theBolognese Apennines.
On each ride we will encounter natural and historical attractions: the Second World War trenches along the Gothic Line, mills with millstones, tower-houses, the Castle of Canossa and the villages of Villa D'Aiano and Montese. During the excursion, there will be a lunch break (included) at an establishment offering typical traditional dishes: zampanelle, montanare, borlenghi, crescentini and other irresistible dishes!
Once back at the meeting point, we will have covered about 40 km with a maximum altitude difference of 500 m; the itinerary may be modified depending on the level of the participants. The experience has a total duration of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from the age of 14; for younger children, please contact our Customer Care.
You must be able to ride a bicycle to take part in the experience.

The tour is available from April to October , weather permitting, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
The meeting point can only be reached by car. Please contact us to request an additional transfer service to/from Vergato station.
Participants wishing to take outRTC and accident insurance at a cost of €5.00 must communicate their personal details to the organiser, at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail prior to the experience.
Dogs are allowed to participate, as long as they are small and comfortably carried in a backpack.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
