Full description
Did you know that as many as 160 km of trails branch off in theBolognese Apennines?
If you too would like to explore them all, why not start with our e-MTB tour! Climb into the saddle and, in the company of an environmental excursion guide, venture along a wooded trail to discover the area's natural and historical attractions.
Pedal 25/30 km through the scenery of the Second World War and the Great Countess of Canossa, for a total experience of 3 ½ hours.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Castel D'Aiano (BO), the highest municipality in theBolognese Apennines. You will recognise me, I will be riding my e-MTB!
Once the bike has been handed over to all participants, in a briefing I'll explain how to use the pedal-assisted mountain bike: how to brake downhill and how to tackle uphill, depending on the terrain on which we'll be pedalling. We will take purely unpaved routes, through chestnut and oak woods, for a total immersion in the nature of theBolognese Apennines.
We will pedal to discover natural and historical attractions: trenches from World War II along the Gothic Line, mills from the last century used by the mountain inhabitants, tower-houses that have survived to the present day, and the legendary Canossa Castle. During the hike there will be 1 stop to recharge your batteries before the next stage.
Once back at the meeting point, we will have covered 25/30 km with a maximum altitude difference of 500 m; the itinerary may be modified according to the level of the participants. The experience has a total duration of 3 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.
To participate in the experience, it is necessary to know how to ride a bicycle.
Other information
The tour is available from April to October, weather permitting, and is confirmed once a minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
The meeting point can only be reached by car. Please contact us to request an additional transfer service to/from Vergato station.
Participants wishing to take outRTC and accident insurance at a cost of €5.00 must communicate their personal details to the organiser at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail before the experience.
Dogs are allowed to participate, as long as they are small and comfortably carried in a backpack.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
