Spend a day in the saddle on our e-bike tour in and around Bologna!
In the company of an Environmental Hiking Guide, explore the many attractions of the Bologna hills: from the Monastery of San Michele in Bosco to theHermitage of Tizzano. A 40 km long route, with stories to be discovered at every stop.
And also to be discovered is the gastronomy of the area, with a lunch break based on traditional dishes. To complete the 6-hour hike with a full belly and heart!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 09:30 at the meeting point in Bologna. On your arrival I will hand over youre-bike, your inseparable companion in this adventure. In a briefing I will explain how to use this bike, before getting on the saddle and setting off to explore Bologna and its hills.
We will pedal to discover the capital ofEmilia-Romagna and its surroundings. The many stops on the itinerary will be: the Parco della Chiusa, the 'invisible' canals that flow beneath Bologna, theTizzano Hermitage and the Basilica of San Luca. And also Pontecchio Marconi, the Calon Park, the Monastery of San Michele in Bosco, the Villa Ghigi Park and the Sabbiuno Memorial. We will also partly travel along the Via degli Dei and the Via della Lana e della Seta!
During the hike, a lunch break is planned at a facility offering traditional dishes (lunch included).
Once you have recovered your energy, back in the saddle to complete our 40 km route with a maximum altitude difference of 300 m; for a total experience of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.
To participate in the experience, it is necessary to know how to ride a bicycle.
Other information
The tour is available from January to December , weather permitting, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Participants wishing to take outRTC and accident insurance at a cost of €5.00 must communicate their personal details to the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail before the experience.
Different types of bicycles are available to choose from: MTB, trekking and city; for an additional fee it is also possible to request 'special bicycles' such as tandems and tricycles for adults. Contact the organiser at the contact details given in the confirmation e-mail to communicate any preferences.
Dogs are allowed to participate, as long as they are small and comfortably carried in a small backpack.
