Full description
Discover the characteristic village of Laviano, a village of small wooden houses surrounded by greenery where peace and tranquillity reign supreme.
You will pedal on ane-bike for 32 km along a fully paved loop route offering magnificent panoramic views.
An enjoyable e-bike tour in the Upper Sele Valley suitable for everyone, during which you will also experience the thrill of crossing a Tibetan bridge suspended between two rock walls. Finally, you can recharge your batteries with a tasty picnic prepared by your guide.
Ready to get in the saddle?
What we will do
We will meet at 10:00 a.m. in Caposele, in the province of Avellino. The guide will carry out a briefing to provide us with all the useful information about the tour and will hand over the e-bike and helmet (included).
Once we are ready, we will set off in the direction of Calabritto, in the Upper Sele Valley. In about 30 minutes we will reach the Temete crossroads, where we will turn in the direction of the so-called Anti-Stress Village of Laviano, a small town of wooden cottages, surrounded by greenery, a symbol of rebirth and renewal after the 1980 earthquake.
To get to the centre of Laviano we will take a panoramic mountain road, slightly uphill, but which we will travel with ease thanks to the assisted pedalling.
We will then reach the medieval castle and the Tibetan Bridge. We will purchase a ticket on site to cross it and discover the thrill of standing about 120 metres high in the air.
Afterwards, we will treat ourselves to a picnic with typical local products, such as muffletto. Once we have recharged our batteries, we will get back on our bikes and resume the loop circuit that will take us back to our starting point in Caposele in about 20 minutes.
Alternatively, on the way back we can decide to lengthen the route by about 7 km and pass through the towns of Santomenna and Castelnuovo, making a loop that crosses the scenic Gallo ridge, for an even more exciting experience!
In total, we will cycle for about 32 km, which will be along an entirely asphalted route and will cover an altitude difference of 230 metres. The excursion lasts a total of 4 hours, of which actual riding time is approx. 2 hours.

The activity is suitable for everyone from 16 years of age.
Other information
The tour takes place daily from March to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
Important: the Tibetan Bridge is only open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays. On weekdays it will therefore only be possible to visit the medieval castle and the places mentioned in the programme.
The picnic is included and may vary depending on the season. In case of allergies or intolerances, please contact the guide once you have received the booking confirmation.
