Treat yourself to a 3-hour e-bike excursion through history and nature. A certified guide will lead you along an easy 25 km route that starts on the Via Francigena and leads you along the Via Appia Antica, with its stretches characterised by typical Roman cobblestones.
You will discover places rich in history such as the Fortino di Sant'Andrea, where the legendary figure of Fra Diavolo, a bloodthirsty and fearless brigand, whose exploits will be the protagonist of the guide's tales, hovers. He is, in fact, one of the most famous and controversial characters of 19th-century Italian brigandage.

What we will do
We will meet at 10:00 a.m. in Itri (LT), where you can leave your car in the free car park. The certified guide will hand out helmets and bikes (included) and we will get ready to set off.
We will initially ride along a stretch of the Via Francigena that crosses the territory of Itri. Then we will take the Via Appia Antica, which in some sections still retains the ancient Roman paving stones. Pedalling back in time, we will discover the famous Fortino Sant'Andrea, built on the remains of a pagan temple dedicated to the worship of the god Apollo.
We will thus begin to penetrate the places that marked the history of Italy's most notorious brigand, Fra Diavolo. Unscrupulous and fearless, he enlisted in the troops of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon and obtained the title of Duke of Cassano.
We will then leave the fascinating stories about Fra Diavolo behind us and continue along a loop trail to Sherpa. The last stretch before returning to Itri will feature a little-used asphalt road. Together we will cover 25 km in about three hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. One only needs to have a minimum of familiarity with e-bikes to ride on a route that also includes undemanding dirt roads.
Children with a minimum height of 140 cm, i.e. capable of riding an adult-sized e-bike, can also participate.
On request it is possible to add
- a special child trolley with a maximum weight of 25 kg;
- a special one-wheel trolley for transporting a dog weighing up to 20 kg.

The activity takes place throughout the year and is reserved for private groups of up to 8 participants.
The fee includes a membership card (5€), as the activity is reserved for members only.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
