Would you like to discover the wildest and most authentic side of the Island of Elba by e-bike?
This 2-hour excursion will take you from Capoliveri to the heart of Monte Calamita, a promontory where the colours and scents of the Mediterranean maquis become more intense as the sun sets on the horizon.
Accompanied by a guide, you will cycle along panoramic paths overlooking the spectacular Costa dei Gabbiani, enjoying the magical light of sunset. It's the perfect opportunity to unplug and connect with the island's energy in one of its most picturesque corners!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Capoliveri (LI), where the guide will welcome us. After an initial briefing on riding technique, we will get on our e-bikes and set off on the excursion.
We will immediately leave behind the noise of the town centre to immerse ourselves in the silence of Monte Calamita, following a ring-route of about 20 km along dirt roads and paths immersed in the Mediterranean maquis.
We will cycle along the Costa dei Gabbiani, admiring from the outside the suggestive Miniere del Vallone mines, evidence of the island's ancient mining past. We will cross the Tenuta delle Ripalte and, if the level of the group and conditions permit, head towards the famous Innamorata beach to enjoy spectacular views of the blue Elba.
The most exciting moment will be the return: we will turn on the lights of our bikes and ride the last 30 minutes of dirt track enveloped in the light of dusk.
The activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and is aimed at everyone.
A minimum height of 135 cm is required to ride the e-bike; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In order to participate, it is necessary to be able to ride a bicycle and to have a minimum of familiarity in driving the bike on asphalt or, preferably, dirt roads, as the return trip will take place in reduced light conditions.

The experience is bookable every day from March to October.
An optional transfer service from your accommodation or hotel to the starting point is available on request (extra service not included in the fee, varies according to distance) .
Child seats or buggies are not available.
Dogs are not allowed on the excursion.
There is free parking on site at the starting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
