Full description
Hop in the saddle and pedal your e-bike to discover the Chianti hills. Let a guide lead you through olive groves and vineyards, breathing in the scents of the Tuscan countryside.
Along the way there will be a stop in a wine cellar for a wine tasting, including the iconic Chianti wine. And then back in the saddle, through a scenic cypress-lined avenue, to end the day!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before 09:30 a.m. at the meeting point communicated at the time of booking, in Badesse (SI). On your arrival, I will give you thee-bike, helmet and water bottle to take part in the excursion.
We will then be ready to set off to discover the Chianti hills, pedalling through the olive groves and vineyards that characterise the area. In the saddle of our e-bikes, we will be able to breathe in the scents and admire the landscape of the Tuscan countryside, which accompanies us along the route.
Along the way we will stop at a winery, which we will reach along a scenic cypress-lined avenue; we will be welcomed for a tasting of local wines, including the not-to-be-missed Chianti wine.
After the break we will get back in the saddle to return to our starting point. The tour lasts a total of about 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for anyone who is physically fit and 14 years of age or older. Participants are required to know how to climb and descend stairs.
Other information
The tour can be booked from April to November and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
The experience also takes place in the event of rain. Should a thunderstorm occur during the tour and the guide decides that for safety reasons it is better not to continue, you will be accompanied back to the starting point and no refund will be given.
A pick-up and drop-off service from Siena train station is available at a cost of €50 per person. Ask the guide at the contact details you received in your booking confirmation email.
The pick-up point can be reached by public transport (Badesse railway station); there is free parking on site.
