Full description
Discover the magnificent territory of the Five Lands on a e-bike and set off on an exclusive tour that will take you off the beaten track, allow you to admire breathtaking views and taste excellent wines and local products.
You will ride immersed in the National Park of the Cinque Terre, a Unesco World Heritage Site, among fabulous villages, terraces and vineyards overlooking the sea. You will breathe in the true essence of this place and its inhabitants, who are fishermen, farmers and woodcutters at the same time.
The sea will be visible for almost the entire itinerary, making this walk a magical experience, to be enjoyed in complete tranquillity thanks to the assisted pedal bicycles that allow anyone, even those who are not particularly fit, to enjoy a day's cycling with routes of 30 to 50 km.
What we will do
We will meet at 9.30 a.m. near the La Spezia train station. After the necessary introductions and adjustment of the bikes, we will start pedalling towards the village of Biassa, through dense chestnut forests to the Telegrafo hill, where the sea air comes in strong and the Mediterranean maquis begins to predominate.
We will continue along the path through breathtaking landscapes to the village of Volastra. We will then reach Manarola, where we will stop for an aperitif with local wine tasting. We will then have some free time to visit the village, have lunch and relax. In the afternoon we will return to La Spezia, pedalling along the panoramic road with splendid views of the colourful villages overlooking the sea.
The route is 35 km in total, mostly flat with some uphill and downhill stretches. The bike can be used with or without assistance and is equipped with different gear levels. The activity lasts approximately 7 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an intermediate level, given the length of the route and the presence of some climbs. Although the electric motor is a very good support on the climbs, a fair degree of familiarity with the bike and thehabit of light physical activity is required.
Participation is possible from 12 years of age .
Other information
Attention. It is necessary to arrive at the meeting place at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
The activity takes place every Monday and Wednesday from April to October and is intended for private groups of 4 to 6 participants.
