Full description

Set off from Cogne for an epic e-bike tour on the Invergneux Pass in the Aosta Valley. A tour capable of offering great emotions awaits you, with 35 km to pedal and an altitude difference of 1500 m.

You'll ride through silent pine forests and along unique paths through rocky coastlines, fordable streams and alpine lakes. With steep climbs and thrilling descents, this route will make any trained biker fall in love... and with an e-bike, it's easier!

The tour will take about 5 hours.

What we will do

The appointment is at 9 a.m. at the announced meeting point in Aosta. Here we will find our e-bikes with MTB guide waiting for us.

Once we have reached the starting point of the itinerary, we will climb into the saddle and head in the direction of Lillaz, along a dirt road through the pine forest. After pedalling uphill for a good hour, we will leave the dirt road and take a beautiful path along the mountain ridge.

Amidst ups and downs, the path will take us below the Invergneux pass, which will appear rocky and difficult, with crows acting as guardians of silence. Once at the top, we will be greeted by a plateau as gentle as an armchair: here we can take a break and enjoy the fantastic panorama that will open up before our eyes.

We will then embark on a very long descent, a 15-kilometre single trail that will take us to the end of our route. The track will be rocky and dusty for the first few kilometres, then green and wooded. We will cross the Urtier valley, a mix of flow, hairpin bends, ups and downs, fords of streams and unique views. This route is recommended for experienced cyclists.

After stopping for a bite to eat and an obligatory photo shoot, we will return to Lillaz and then to Cogne, where we will board the transfer that will take us back to our starting point .

The total duration of the activity will be 5 hours.
