Nature, history, tradition and fun: you will find this and much more on our full-day e-bike tour through the Tuscan countryside.
From Scandicci, in the province of Florence, you will ride through a charming forest to Machiavelli's house-museum, which you will visit while enjoying a delicious schiacciata accompanied by a glass of Chianti . You will cycle for about30 km through the Tuscan countryside, among vineyards, olive groves and breathtaking landscapes.
This activity is perfect for those who want to spend a different kind of day in Tuscany, framed by breathtaking landscapes. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is in Scandicci at 9:00 am. On arrival, we will be welcomed by an expert guide who will provide us with an e-bike and helmet and, after a quick briefing on the route, we will be ready to set off.
We will venture into the Tuscan countryside, past dirt tracks and enchanting vineyards and olive groves. We will also pass through a forest until we reach Chiesanuova and a fascinating Hindu temple.
The route will then take us to Machiavelli's house-museum, where a delicious schiacciata will be waiting for us to enjoy with a glass of Chianti wine. We can also take a guided tour of the historic house and cellar (included). The route is 30 km, with an altitude difference of +570 m.
At the end of this stop, we will resume our journey to return to our starting point via easy, flowing paths. The return journey is scheduled for 16:00, for a total duration of 7 hours (including briefing, 3-hour e-bike tour, guided tour of the museum house and the wine cellar, lunch break).
