Full description
Get ready to feast your eyes on the blue and breathe in the real mountain air!
Hop on an e-bike and let us guide you on a journey of discovery around Monte Baldo, the extraordinary natural terrace overlooking Lake Garda.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll cycle through unspoilt pastures and historic trenches on an adventure lasting around 3 hours, complete with a traditional lunch at a mountain hut!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the time stated at the meeting point in Spiazzi (VR), where the guide will welcome us. After a brief introductory briefing and the handover of helmets and electric bikes, we’ll get on our e-bikes and set off on the ride.
We’ll cycle along a scenic route totalling around 26 km, 80 per cent of which is on tarmac and 20 per cent on dirt tracks. We’ll tackle a challenging elevation gain, starting at an altitude of 900 metres and climbing to 1, 200–1, 300 metres, but don’t worry: thanks to the electric motor, we’ll easily conquer every climb whilst enjoying the very best of the scenery!
Along the way, we’ll ascend to the mountain pastures of Monte Baldo, surrounded by spectacular views of Lake Garda. Our guide will take us on a journey through history, showing us wartime artefacts, trenches and the old borders of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Halfway through the route, we’ll stop at one of the area’s traditional mountain huts. Here we’ll stay for about an hour to enjoy a high-altitude lunch comprising a generous platter of cold cuts and local specialities, regional cheeses, bread, a soft drink and coffee.
After refuelling and taking some memorable photos, we’ll get back in the saddle to complete the loop and head downhill back to our starting point. The activity will last a total of around 3 hours.
